Mileage Club Needs Your Support
We will be marking a milestone this spring when the Mileage Club celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2017.
Mileage Club is sponsored by the Blossom Hill Home & School Club and is slated to start on February 9 and run through May 18. The purpose of the program is to provide an organized, “fitness-based option” at lunch recess that adds to the yard games being played.
Mileage Club allows each child to set and achieve their own goals and it also teaches them to be responsible for maintaining their own cards and tokens. All students in grades 1st-5th are automatically enrolled for this free program.
Mileage Club operates four days a week and is coordinated by Mr. Lux and staffed by amazing and wonderful parent volunteers like you .
Students have the option to participate by bringing their
Mileage Club-cards to the starting line on the field and running, walking, or skipping (either individually or in groups) around a ¼ mile marked course.
For each mile completed, students receive a colored foot token. For each card completed, they receive a special award token.
If you are interested in helping out with Mileage Club, please contact Jeannine @ email@example.com.
We would love to have your support as a volunteer.
Honeybee Choir 2017 - My Kind of Hero
Honeybee Choir is offered as an extracurricular activity to 1st & 2nd grade students. This year we are going to save the day with a superhero themed production entitled "My Kind of Hero" directed for the third year in a row by our very own Mrs. Cindy Adams.
