Pottery Program Class Volunteer Job Description

  • NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE or ARTISTIC TALENT NEEDED!
  • Set up work stations for students (cover tables in paper, put out tools, clay and/or glazes.
  • Encourage students to unleash their creativity and stay on task.
  • Clean up tables and tools at the end of the lesson.
Please note:  Each grade usually completes one project a year.  Each project is two class sessions - forming the clay and then glazing the clay.  You do not need to be available for all parts of the projects.
